The major enhancements is

• New System Privileges

New System Privileges

Intellicus has introduced new system privileges for assigning to users or roles so that the users can perform specific privileged task or access specific privileged information.

Following are the new system privileges:

• Organization Admin

• Batch Scheduler Administrator

• Deploy Repository Bundle

Organization Admin

As an Organization Admin User, you granted all administration rights for the organization to which you belongs. Scope of all the default system privileges like Category Setup,Data Admin and Batch Scheduler Administrator is Organization. You can assign these system privileges to users or roles of your organization.

Batch Scheduler Administrator

As a Batch Scheduler Administrator you can view and create jobs, schedules and tasks.  If the scope is Organization, you can access to jobs, schedules and tasks created by users belonging to your organization.  If the scope is Global, you can access to jobs, schedules and tasks created by users belonging to any organization.

Deploy Repository Bundle

 With Deploy Repository Bundle system privilege, You can deploy the repository bundle from Repository > Deploy Repository Bundle page.

Enhanced Entity Access Rights 

Intellicus 5.0 has introduced Entity Access rights page. This page is merged page of old Access Control and Report Access Rights pages.

From this page you can provide Access Rights for following entities.

• Category

• Report (includes Standard report, Adhoc report and OLAP layout)

• Query Object

• Parameter Object

• Cube Object

• Dashboard

• Dashboard Widget

• Connection

Entity Access rights page has following major enhancements :

• Inherited Access Rights

• Searching for Organization, User and Role

Inherited Access Rights

Intellicus has now introduced inherited access rights.  These are for entities for which you have not explicitly set the access rights.  The category structure is hierarchical and the access rights set for a category is applicable for its sub categories and child entity objects. 

The inherited access rights information displayed for selected entity with its parent hierarchy.

Searching for Organization, User and Role

You can search for organization , User and Role on Entity Access Rights page .  Intellicus with its new search has reduced your efforts greatly. 

Intellicus has facilitated Advance search for organization ,User and Role on this page. You can specify filter conditions for searching.
