LDAP search filters for authentication

Till now, you could only specify the logon user name to match the common name in the LDAP directory. With Search filters, you can define search criteria and provide more efficient and effective searches as part of the LDAP authentication for Intellicus users. When constructing a filter you can pick a unique attribute of the set of users you want to allow access to the application. You can specify attributes (for example: email id, contact number, etc.) matching users in the 'Search Filter' field to search the LDAP directory.
For Example, in the below image 'sAMAccountName' (i.e. the logon name in LDAP directory) is used as a search string which is equated with <%USER_ID%> parameter. The following filter searches for entries with a user ID attribute sAMAccountName that matches the user ID used to log in to the system.
You need to specify Admin DN/Password required to connect to the LDAP server.

You need to create a user in the above-created organization as shown in the image below.

The Intellicus user is then mapped to the user with the value of <%USER_ID%> parameter.
