Intellicus Mobile Application Now Available on Apple App Store

This announcement was made at the Oracle Open World, San Francisco, where the company also gave a live demonstration of this application.
Intellicus Mobile App provides interactive and personalized analytical views over the enterprise data, giving dynamic insights into the key performance indicators of business. Users can quickly relate the KPIs with detailed data readily using the drill downs. Intellicus native iOS application allows offline analysis and users can refresh the updated content, when the device is online.

This mobile app can be downloaded for free from the Apple store. The users can connect it with the Intellicus Server version 5.3 or above; over SSL.
The application implements enterprise data security rules on devices seamlessly.

Intellicus presents its big data roadmap in the second Hadoop India

Intellicus Technologies presented its big data capabilities and road map at the second Hadoop India User Group Meet up, organized by Absolute Zero Forum on July 31, 2010 . The technology un-conference was an effort to develop an active Hadoop community that can network and share information. The event brought together leaders from the Hadoop developer and user communities. It saw very interesting sessions on Hadoop and provided a platform for freewheeling discussion between everybody interested in Hadoop.
Sajal Rastogi, from Intellicus exhibited current capabilities of Integrating Intellicus with Hadoop via Hive to fetch data into its reports and dashboards. He also discussed the technical aspects of tighter integration, and revealed how Intellicus will provide Business Intelligence over unstructured data on Hadoop. Intellicus allows one to keep the data in Hadoop itself, and fully leverage map reduce capabilities to process the data for BI purposes, not requiring anyone to extract a subset to a relational ware house. The presentation was followed by a live demonstration of Intellicus ad hoc reporting and dash boarding over big data.

Intellicus also announced its road map of tighter integration with Hive and Aster Data for submitting long running Map Reduce jobs from Intellicus for background run to get live-streamed data on its Dashboards and Ad-hoc reports.
Intellicus is capable of high volume data processing and streaming capabilities and offers advanced data visualization tools. Combined with petabtytes of data storage and parallel processing strength of Hadoop, Intellicus can provide end users access to ad hoc analysis on big data.
On the occasion, Pankaj Mittal, VP & CTO of Intellicus, said,"The ad hoc reporting support is given off the shelf. The support for much needed date related data analysis for varied type of web log files, will be released later this quarter. Now, one can generate web analytics on the fly."

Intellicus is also looking into developing partnerships with big data consulting companies looking for ready-to-deploy BI on Hadoop. It has already tied up with iLabs, an architectural consultant arm of Impetus Technologies Inc. iLabs has active contributors for Hive JIRA and Open Source.
